چکیده
We study finite groups G having a normal subgroup H and \(D \subset \setminus H, D \cap D^{-1}=\emptyset ,\) such that the multiset \(\{ xy^{-1}:x,y \in D\}\) has every non-identity element occur same number of times (such is called DRAD difference set). show there are no order \(4p^2\), where p an odd prime.

Difference sets in non-abelian groups of order 256
This paper considers the problem of determining which of the 56092 groups of order 256 contain (256, 120, 56, 64) difference sets. John Dillon at the National Security Agency communicated 724 groups which were still open as of August 2012. In this paper, we present a construction method for groups containing a normal subgroup isomorphic to Z4 × Z4 × Z2. This construction method was able to prod...
متن کاملSemiregular Relative Difference Sets in 2-Groups Containing a Cyclic Subgroup of Index 2
An ðm; u; k; lÞ relative difference set (RDS) in a group G relative to a subgroup U of order u and index m is a k-element subset R of G such that every element of g 2 G=U has exactly l representations g 1⁄4 r1r 1 2 with r1; r2 2 R and no identity element of U has such a representation. The subgroup U is often called the forbidden subgroup. If k 1⁄4 ul; then the RDS is called semiregular and its...
متن کاملTiling Groups with Difference Sets
We study tilings of groups with mutually disjoint difference sets. Some necessary existence conditions are proved and shown not to be sufficient. In the case of tilings with two difference sets we show the equivalence to skew Hadamard difference sets, and prove that they must be normalized if the group is abelian. Furthermore, we present some constructions of tilings based on cyclotomy and inve...
متن کاملComplete Sets of Disjoint Difference Families and their Applications
Let G be an abelian group. A collection of (G, k, λ) disjoint difference families, {F0,F1, · · · ,Fs−1}, is a complete set of disjoint difference families if ∪0≤i≤s−1∪B∈FiB form a partition of G− {0}. In this paper, several construction methods are provided for complete sets of disjoint difference families. Applications to one-factorizations of complete graphs and to cyclically resolvable cycli...
متن کاملRelative non-Normal Graphs of a Subgroup of Finite Groups
Let G be a finite group and H,K be two subgroups of G. We introduce the relative non-normal graph of K with respect to H , denoted by NH,K, which is a bipartite graph with vertex sets HHK and KNK(H) and two vertices x ∈ H HK and y ∈ K NK(H) are adjacent if xy / ∈ H, where HK =Tk∈K Hk and NK(H) = {k ∈ K : Hk = H}. We determined some numerical invariants and state that when this graph is planar or...
